Chester Nez and Louie Zamperini are a lot a like.  They were both proud to be a soldier.  Just Like chester said,  “I am proud to fight for my country.”  They both went through hard times growing up.  Louie was poor and stole to get food and always got into trouble.  Chester got in trouble when he wanted to speak his Native language and when he did at school someone would hit him.  everyday in their childhood someone tried to make them change, but when someone tried to change them they would try not not change.  Little did they know this would help their lives in the future.  During Louies military experience his childhood helped because he was tough mentally and physically .  Roger Nez used his childhood experience to created the best code in his language that was ever spoken in WWll.
